Patient FAQs

Common questions.

What does an andrologist treat?+

An andrologist focuses on male sexual, reproductive and fertility health, including male infertility and conditions affecting sexual function.

Can I consult online?+

Online consultation may be appropriate for many sexual health and fertility concerns. The doctor will advise when an in-person examination, investigation or procedure is required.

Is erectile dysfunction only a sexual problem?+

No. Erectile dysfunction can have medical, hormonal, psychological, medication-related and vascular contributors and may sometimes be associated with broader health risks.

When should a man see an andrologist for infertility?+

If pregnancy has not occurred despite regular unprotected intercourse, or if there is a known male reproductive problem, a structured male fertility evaluation can be useful.

Will my consultation be confidential?+

Medical consultations are conducted with appropriate confidentiality and respect for patient privacy.
